Villa Anastassia stands directly on the shore in Nikiti, a seaside town at the gateway to the Sithonia peninsula of Halkidiki in northern Greece. From the garden you step straight onto the beach — a beachfront that works for families with small children as well as for couples who simply want the sea within reach all day.
Nikiti itself is an easy, lived-in town rather than a resort: a long sandy beach, a waterfront lined with tavernas, cafés and ice-cream shops, supermarkets and bakeries for self-catering, and the stone houses of the old village on the hill above. Sithonia’s celebrated west-coast beaches — Kalogria, Kovios, Lagomandra, Elia and Agios Ioannis among them — are a short drive down the coast, so the villa makes a comfortable base for exploring the whole peninsula.
Thessaloniki Airport (SKG) is about 90 km away — usually an hour and a quarter to an hour and a half by car. A rental car is the easiest way to reach Nikiti and to enjoy the beaches beyond it.
